Valle de los Ingenios

Description

Located between the mountains and the sea, it is a true archaeological monument to the Cuban sugar industry from the 18th to the 19th centuries. It can be considered as an eco-cultural system where monuments, nature and society interact, for which it constitutes an objective of high artistic value. Together with the city of Trinidad, it was recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site in 1988.

Museo Espeleológico de Cuba

The unique Speleological Museum of Cuba of its kind in the country is inside a cave in the municipality of Trinidad in the cave La Maravillosa.
