| Visitors arriving to Cuba should possess a valid passport and the corresponding visa or visit card. The holding, consumption or traffic of drugs, narcotics and psychotropic substances it is penalized, except for those of personal use accompanied by the corresponding medical prescription. In the whole country circulates the Convertible Cuban Peso (CUC) equivalent to dollar, the North American dollar no longer circulates. In Varadero, Cayo Largo, Jardínes del Rey, Santa Lucia’s beach, Covarrubia´s beach and Holguín’s beaches the payment can be made directly in Euros.
